Attention Calgary fans!! Win a chance to meet Billy Talent!
By the time we hit Calgary we'll be halfway through the tour and to thank all you dedicated fans who have been following us along the way, we're giving one lucky person and a friend attending the Calgary show a chance to win a meet and greet with the band!
Here's how you can win:
To enter you'll need to follow our 2010 Canadian Tour on Twitter and Facebook.
As you may have noticed for each show date/city we post a new photo album on the Billy Talent 2010 Canadian Tour facebook page. Beginning in Red Deer, and continuing through the Medicine Hat and Lethbridge albums, hiding in one of the photos for each city there will be a secret word somewhere. The word will be taken from a BIlly Talent lyric. Take note of this word. Once you have all three secret words direct message BTcanadiantour the three words you've
found in the photos, your full name, email address and where you're from.
One lucky winner will be randomly chosen to win the meet and greet.
You must be able to attend the March 16th show in Calgary, AB.
Contest closes at 11:59pm on March 14th. The winner will be notified
by email on March 15th.

Billy Talent Nominated for Four Juno Awards
The Junos were announced today and Billy Talent is up for four awards! The guys are nominated for Group of the Year; Album of the Year and Rock Album of the Year for Billy Talent III; and Single of the Year for "Rusted From The Rain."
The Juno Awards will be broadcast live on CTV Sunday, April 18, and the guys will be performing at the show too.
In other award news, the guys have also been nominated for the Artist/Group International Rock/Alternative/Heavy Metal Echo Award in Germany. What a mouthful!

Billy Talent iPhone/iPod Touch App
Apple has just released the Billy Talent app for iPhone and iPod Touch and it's now available as a free download from the iTunes App store. This app will provide you with access to photos, videos, music and tour and merch info. The app also has a "Right Now" feature that will allow you to share your Billy Talent experiences with other fans in real time.

RuisRock Festival
Last week we announced a number of new festival dates for the guys and now we have another one for you. On July 9, the guys will be performing at RuisRock in Ruissalo, Finland. Tickets for this show are on sale now.

A new date has just been confirmed for Billy Talent’s upcoming Canadian tour. On April 15, the guys will be playing at Cunard Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Presale tickets for this show will be going on sale through our Store this Thursday, February 11 at 11 am AST. Make sure you are logged into your account just before 11 am to give yourself the best possible chance of grabbing tickets through our presale.

Billy Talent want to do their part for the victims of Haiti and are going to donate a portion of their merchandise sales from their current European tour to the Haiti Relief fund. Sound Check with Billy Talent Contest
Much Music is running a contest where seven lucky fans will win the opportunity to play guitar with Billy Talent at a sound check on one of seven dates on the upcoming Canadian tour. Each winner will also be given tickets to that night’s show.
To enter, get yourself a copy of Billy Talent III: Deluxe Edition and check out the second CD, which has the guitar tracks removed. Make a video of yourself playing to one of the tracks, upload it to YouTube and submit the video through Much Music’s website.
