Same as here in Czech republic... -.- people don't like them... There are a lots of fans but... to get them on TV is nearly impossible... :(

Every now and when (when MTV played music and before they cancelled Total Request Live) they would play 'Try Honesty' in the background while the host was talking about some other artist. That was basically the extent of Billy Talent getting any airtime in America... at least from my experience and what I know. I've never heard them on the radio, or TV. I would wear a band shirt to school and people would ask me, "So you like this Billy guy? Is his music any good? Did he changed his name to Talent on purpose, he must be full of himself to do that?"

I'm just like, really? How can you NOT know who Billy Talent is? It just blows my mind. I seriously want to make T-Shirts that say 'Billy Talent is a BAND.'

^ Angela, I totally agree with you. Over here, not once have I heard a BT song anywhere on the radio or T.V. ...Its sad, but true. Unless you count the movie Grind or Ninja Turtles where I heard Line and Sinker and Red Flag. I hope that America will soon hop on the BT bandwagon. Because they are missing out, big time.

^ I remember hearing about one of thier songs in a movie I just never looked into it, and If I do make a shirt that says "Billy Talent is a BAND' that I will totally post a picture of it XD I like doing stuff like that. If it's any good I probably would make multtiples.

^^ahaha that would be a cool shirt....i have only heard them on the radio once here, it was try honesty, i guess the station got a promo to promote their first cd.... aha that is how i found out about them......oh yeah and then one time when i was at a rise against show kroq was there and they were playing some music they played red flag.....lol i asked them why they never actually play it on their station they said they would if they could but then need more of a demand......and you know with all of that touring billy talent has been doing in the US i see that demand growing

That's so real ! When I bought "Billy Talent", it was on the windowsill (no, not the day when my mother lost her sleeping pills. LOL), and my dad said "Oh, so..what kind of music does that "Billy" plays ?" I wanted to scream "It's a BAND !". Now all of my friends know that BT are a Band, since I bought their T-Shirt and listening everyday their songs with the volume up to 100% xD

I told him like 10.000.000 times that Billy Talent is the BAND. But he is not able to learn... The funniest thing he said about Billy Talent: Billy Talent is bad... but the musicians are really good, they should make more records.

I live in London Ontario, they get a crazy amount of audio/video play. Everytime I turn on the radio one of their songs are on and they don't just play the new songs, I hear DIAMM, River Below, Try Honesty, etc... and their new AND old videos are constantly on. If you want, I can link you to my radio station because they do play them quite a bit because they grew up close to here. Also, Ben worked with Alan Cross of the Ongoing History Of New Music and a number of positions there so maybe that's why.

I totally want a rag doll like that too! I've been trying to convince my friend to make one similar to it since she's really crafty and can figure stuff like that out, but she says she's too lazy... XD I need to bother her some more!
